THE SPRING CARNIVAL IN PORNIC
At the beginning of the season you can enjoy the spring carnival (Carnaval de printemps) in Pornic which is the first major event of the year, a celebration dating back to the early 1900’s !
On
April 18th 2010 at 2:30pm : Carnival parade in Pornic and on
April 19th (Monday) at 8:30pm : see the floats illuminated with thousands of light bulbs for the
carnival’s night parade.
12 km away from the Le Patisseau campsite, in the town of Préfailles the Festival des Jeux et Loisirs (festival of games and leisure) takes place between April 17th and 24th 2010, and it offers workshops for adults and children : circus performance, beach soccer, pottery, pony rides....
On April 24th 2010 (Saturday) : A superb ending to the
Festival des Jeux et Loisirs : The closing show “Djinn” at the Espace Culturel de
Préfailles. In the program you will have :
martial arts,
fire performers,
desert scenery. “Djinn” is a musical comedy for the whole family. The entire family can enjoy!!!!
